The Evelix

from £1,215.00

The Evelix Table marks the first collaboration between interior designers Claire Welsh, Founder of Claire Welsh Design, and Rebecca Chandran, Senior Designer at the studio, and Furniture Designer’s and Maker’s Sam Cooper and Richard Platt of The Marchmont Workshop. The design inspiration was drawn from Claire’s experience in sourcing decorative antiques for client projects and heavily influenced by The Marchmont Workshop’s existing furniture, specifically using elements found in their Ledbury Arm Chair. Following a series of discussions and initial sketches, with the aid of Claire’s eye for interior proportions, Sam and Rich then developed and handcrafted the piece at their workshop in the Scottish Borders — a true meeting of design vision and skilled making. The partnership celebrates the coming together of traditional craftsmanship and refined design — a piece created with the intention of being cherished for generations. Designed and made in Scotland, the table embodies a shared passion for sustainability, heritage crafts, and timeless beauty.
