  • What are your lead times?

    As a small business are lead times can vary a little depending on our workload and time of year. Our current estimate is 6-8 months from deposit date.

  • Do you repair chairs?

    If it just needs a new rush seat, we’re very happy to provide that service. We don’t currently do woodworking repairs unless it’s one of our own designs.

  • Where do you source your materials?

    Most of our wood comes from woodlands surrounding our workshop, ask us and we can usually show you the stump it came from!

    We harvest the rushes ourselves from the rivers Wansbeck and Avon every summer and we’re always looking for volunteers. Get in touch if you’d like to come along.

  • Do you make custom furniture?

    We’re open to commissions of all types, we have a few examples of previous one-offs we’ve done here. Whether you already have a design or just an idea, send us a message and we’ll see if we can help!

  • Can I visit the workshop?

    Of course! We have two Open Studios a year in conjunction with the Hugo Burge Foundation, but we are happy to arrange a visit any time. Get in touch with us here to arrange a time and date.

  • Do you ship overseas?

    Absolutely, we have a network of trusted couriers who can deliver worldwide! Shipping can be expensive so best to get in touch for a rough quote.
