This table can be made to seat from 10-18 people.
A longer variant of a classic design by Ernest Gimson, revived and updated to be an ideal counterpart to all of our traditional chairs, as well as fitting in completely to a modern home.
The Gimson Wishbone boasts a robust 40mm thick table top, and sturdy undercarriage, made by hand to suit the dimensions of the table top you require, using two sets of wishbones to accommodate a much longer top.
We use high quality European Oak, favouring wider, more figured boards to suitably match the aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts movement this design has its roots in. If you would like a different material or have certain requirements please get in touch.
The table top is completely detachable without tools, for easy maneuverability through narrower doors and hallways, making it an ideal piece for difficult spaces, and the ability to move the much heavier table with fewer people.
